Avg mechanical optimization game. I could see how it's a nice game for obsessive people but I don't see the fun in super optimization and the UI/UX wasn't helpful enough for me to enjoy the game.

Good almost great game. I think the more you play the better it gets but I didn't see anything that grabbed me hard yet.

Potion Craft

Potion Craft

Potion Craft has a unique core mechanic, but it was not what I expected. I thought there would be more depth to the alchemy itself, but in reality it mostly comes down to pathing on the map using the ingredients you already have. It is clever at first, but once you understand how the system works, it becomes very straightforward. I played around 7 hours total. When I first tried to sit down and focus on it, I could not even finish a full hour in one session. Later on, it worked much better as a background game while doing other things. In that sense, it does feel cozy and relaxing, but also very repetitive. Once you learn the efficient paths for common potions, the gameplay loop turns into repeating the same routes and grinding gold. Progression also feels heavily tied to waiting for the right NPC to show up in your shop. At some point it stops feeling like discovery and becomes more like grinding money until the game allows you to move forward. The system itself is clear, but some mechanics feel oddly useless, like certain tools and items that seem important but end up not mattering much. You only realize that after spending time with them. The presentation is probably the strongest part. The art style, book aesthetic, and overall vibe are cozy and pleasant. However, when you start trying to optimize and tier 3 everything, it shifts from cozy to micromanagement quite quickly. It is not frustrating exactly, just very “meh” over time. One thing I really disliked is the customer dialogue. Having to read between repetitive lines just to figure out what potion they actually want gets old fast. Instead of feeling immersive, it starts to feel like decoding the same patterns again and again. I do not see myself replaying it unless it gets a major addition that adds real depth. As it is now, it feels more like a chill, repetitive simulator rather than a game that evolves over time. I would recommend it to someone who enjoys cozy, tedious, and repetitive gameplay loops and does not mind grinding. I would not recommend it to someone looking for a game that requires skill, variety, or deeper systems. It is relaxing in short bursts, but once the novelty of the mechanic wears off, the repetition becomes the main experience.

Suzerain

Suzerain

9/10 Superb

Honestly this game surprised me a lot. I ended up putting much more time into it than I expected. Suzerain does not rely on flashy mechanics or constant action. The whole experience depends on its writing, choices, and consequences, and it actually works. Decisions feel heavy in a way most games do not manage. You are constantly balancing ideology, public opinion, corruption, allies, enemies, and your own morals. The game keeps reminding you that you are not an all powerful hero. You are just a president trying to keep the country, and yourself, from falling apart. The political depth is where the game really shines. It is slow, but in a good way. Reading reports, negotiating with ministers, dealing with protests, and handling foreign pressure all build on each other over time. Sometimes you think you made a smart compromise, then hours later you realize it created a bigger problem. That cause and effect loop makes the experience very engaging. The presentation is simple but effective, but the UI can feel a bit too minimal at times. Important information is not always easy to read or track, especially when it comes to the economy. The economic system itself feels a bit unclear. You see numbers going up or down, but the game does not always explain what is actually affecting them or how your decisions connect to those changes. At times it feels like you are reacting to results instead of understanding the system behind them. The downside is that it is very text heavy. If you are not in the mood to read and think through decisions, it can feel tiring. There is also less variety moment to moment even though the overall outcomes can change a lot. That said, it fits the theme. Politics is not supposed to feel flashy. Would I play it again? Yes. Trying a different ideology, different alliances, and making different mistakes sounds interesting enough for another run. It is the kind of game where you finish a session, realize where things went wrong, and want to start again. If you enjoy choice driven games that respect the player and do not hold your hand, Suzerain is easy to recommend

Die in the Dungeon

Die in the Dungeon

7/10 Good

This The game gave me a unique experience at first, but at the same time it slowly took that feeling away. Once you understand what you’re doing, it turns into a brute-force type of game. It starts off nicely, and the character design is really the only thing that keeps the experience feeling a bit fresh. However, after a few runs, that sense of freshness is gone. The runs themselves are quite long, and I think if they were shortened somehow, the game would be much more fun overall.

ULTRAKILL

ULTRAKILL

6.5/10 Decent

6.5/10 is probably more of a fair score given I played for 2.6hrs. The life steal felt good, and using the Sawed-on Shotgun made that mechanic extra fun. However, the gameplay can get repetitive even in the couple of hours I played. Bosses were okay or at least the two I fought were very normal nothing special one I had to kite and shoot and the other I did the chasing. The retro visuals work but not when I am just super close to the enemies chainsawing them. That made it hard to enjoy the retro visuals. Would I play again? Maybe if I am bored or just wanna finish the game I guess. I would rather play Quake/Halo and start jumping around hunting players.
