A story masterfully delivered in a video game medium.

Finished the game and got all major characters unlock in the tree.
The Good:
- The basing, environment progression, and few character episodes are honestly masterful. Specifically: Barbara (The star), Gregory (The baby), and Lewis (The canestry worker / video game lover) are outstanding mini experiences that sat the bar so high, almost everything else feels like literally (fillers).…

I'm a bit torn on this, i have so much criticism, yet for how short and enjoyable the experience is, it deserves a good rating, also the world felt very rich. the game really reminded me of "To the moon", except it felt like it had a reason to be delivered as a game other than the fact that the developer didn't know any better.
some stories were not very interesting, some were (Lewis was very emotional, and the delivery of it was incredible)

A truly immersive story about a family filled with tragic stories, the game does not try to be anything else from what it already is, a story, immersing you in an unpredictable order of events, and let you complete the pieces. The game answers enough yet leaves you with questions for you sit back on, along with a quite unique fun UI. The only negative thing i could possibly conjure is that the achievements are so random, and i wish they just didn't exist, just the completed everything if you really want achievements. Its amazing in my book (da dum ts) i would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a narrative experience

What Remains of Edith Finch tells a tragic story, but what makes it so compelling is the lingering question it leaves behind. was the Finch family truly cursed, or were they struggling with generational mental illness(my theory) and, in some cases, terrible luck. The game never gives you the answer to that question .
I really appreciated the pacing. It gives the player time to absorb each story, making it easier to feel immersed in the Finch h…

This is a great game. I enjoyed every second of it. Every corner, every "memory" is made with love. You can feel it. Everything feels alive, you feel like you're in a real place, with a lot of memories, and you feel connected to the Edith family despite not knowing much about them. It is a very unique experience.
What I don't like about the game is the lack of a better conclusion. usually this is a big flaw in a story game, for this one, though, it is a bit of the point to lack the conclusion i…
